Default HELP Z06 Wheels?

I am looking at a set of Z06 5 Spoke/Split for my 2003 AE from Florida Corvettes. The offset is either 54mm or 56mm and they supposedly weigh approx 3 lbs more than stock wheels. I need to know if the weight will effect my car. They assure me that the wheels will fit my AE without sticking out past the fender wells. I like my tires inside the well. I need answers before I buy and I don't know of a better place to ask. Thanks

I assume you are talking about the front wheels. If they are 8.5" wide you should be OK. OEM offset is 58mm front and 65mm rear. The extra 3 lbs per wheels will not have a big effect. You may see a slight reduction in gas mileage.

Thanks for the info. If you get the chance check ou the wheels on hte Florida Corvettes site. The ones I am looking at are $699 for all four. This seems cheap to me so..... I am being very cautious. If you check it out give me your opinion

I just put a set of those on about a month ago and I am very happy with them.Mine are the black 5 spoke with the stainless lip and they do not stick out of the fender well.I have a 01 C5 white convertible .

Sounds like the wheels you are interested in are reproductions. If the specs for them are close to those above you are all set.

I wouldn't worry about 3lbs per wheel more weight. You are unlikely to notice any difference.
Those wheels should work just fine on your car.
