So freakin easy! Man, I love when a project is easy from beginning to end! And I didn't break anything else in the process! Woo hoo!

Congrats - nice to be able to do a repair yourself - saves some big bucks in the process and the satisfaction is priceless.

Did you replace the whole regulator? Or just the motor?

Replaced the whole regulator. It comes as one piece. You could probably rebuild the regulator by replacing the cable but from what I've read, it's not worth it. Bought an AC Delco off Amazon for $143. Best bang for the Buck in my opinion...

Only reason I ask is because my regulator cables and track are in good shape but my motor has a dead spot. I can buy the motor for about $40.

Was there a write up that you followed or was it self explanatory from the start. I need to do this myself.

Sounds good to me. That was the only aggravating part...motor was still strong...just that damn cable had a fray in it...Pm me the details...I'll just send the whole thing in the same box I got the other one in...

I was gonna look at a write up, but saw a video on YouTube, watched it like twice, and went and knocked it out...didn't take but like 30 minutes...

Hate to guess what the "stealership" would charge.

Just this past Thursday, I was quoted $560 to replace the widow regulator at the local dealer.
