Sure buy the Skip Shift eliminator. there is a device sold by most of the vendors here to do just that. However I have had my MN6 for over 6 years now and I can count the time it happen on one hand. As long as you run first gear out a little it does not come into play.

Get the cags delete....the one that eliminates the dash light also...

I had it tuned out on my Zo6 but my DD is a Z28 and it has it, must be one of the most annoying things ever. I drive that car like an old lady so I always get that damn light. I definitely need the eliminator
