Default help

i am a newbie i have a black box approx.6 in by 3in on drivers side on the floor.is this a fuse box because it is not mentioned 2004 manual thanks john

Is it connected to anything? The c5 doesn't have a box there. It could be the scm (seat control module) if its fallen off the seat. It normally is attached to the underside of the seat bottom with some plastic clips over the seat cusion springs.
Can you post a picture of it?

If your are referring to the area that is just to the left of the clutch (MN6) or the brake pedal up against the side panel, that is what is known as the dead pedal. it is a foot rest.
