Very easy to do. Tilt the seat forward to find the zipper. Pay attention to how it's hooked up in the bottom. Unzip and pull the material like in the picture. Then move the foam that surrounds the seat frame to the inside of the tab (like in the picture). This will result in increased lateral support.

I bought a 15k miles 2004 C.E. Z06 a few months ago for exactly $30k, enclosed ship to my door more than halfway across the U.S., and couldn't be happier! The best part is I doubt I'll ever see another C.E. Z06 driving on the same street. The price only matters if you view it as an expense, not an investment (a freakin' sweet investment at that!). Nice job on the red purchase in Phoenix though - enjoy it~

The only concern I would have is was the car stored and driven with a gas stabilizer. You also know the tires need to be replaced.
I just sold my 2002 Z06 with 12k miles for $26,900 and as far as I am concerned the buyer got the deal of the century (included brand new tires). I have used gas stabilizer since new as I do with my H3 and 2001 Corvette convertible with 7k miles. And before you jump on me for not driving them enough the 2 of us have 5 cars and many other hobbies/interests.
Oil change time is a full day's job.

Bought my '02 C5Z 2 yrs ago with 5300 miles currently has 10,500 miles on original Goodyears Supercar tires. Should I be replacing them? Visually they all look fine, with plenty of tread, still looks new.

Those tires are 11 years old and Discount Tire would not even fix a flat or put air in them as they consider them unsafe. My 2002 also had GY SC that looked brand new but when I looked very closely I could see very small cracks where the tread was. The side walls looked perfect but the rubber was very hard. This car was always garaged and the only time it was outside was when it was moving and at 12k miles it was not moving much. When I got the new Conti ExtremeContacts I noticed a major difference in how soft the new rubber was.
Maybe if you never went over 45 mph they would be fine but this is not likely to happen. I am sure you have to get out of first gear?
Bottom line is I gave them to Discount Tire and did not sell them because I would not drive on them myself and did not want to be responsible for someone else being hurt or killed.
One of the guys at Discount Tire told me he put his unused 14 year old spare on his car when his newer tire got a flat and he had a blowout the same day.
