Default Passenger window problem

Only hear a click when trying to lower passenger window. No hint of a problem leading up to this. Same result from either window control. Window motor makes no sound at all. All you hear is a single click when you push the button. Any ideas?

Get a hammer, pull the door panel, and tap the black bolt on the left side-center"ish" and it'll go down. For a permanent fix, replace the motor/regulator assembly.

Ditto! Just remember to use the window after you unstick the motor and it won't happen again! They will continue to stick with a lack of use.

Yep. I've made it a habit to roll the passenger window up and down every day, including the days I'm not driving the car. It doesn't take much for it to get stuck.

To the OP-

You'll also need a flat-head screwdriver to pop the door handle cover and the cover behind the grab handle that hides the two 10 mm bolts securing the panel to the door. You'll need a ratchet, 10 mm socket, and an extension to remove these two bolts. Be prepared to have to pick up a few of the plastic male pins because they break/bend easily, and once broken/bent, you won't be able to use them anymore.

Just performed this on my '02 'vert. 5 taps and the window started working! Thanks for the advise. Broke one of the plastic door pins but was going to order some anyway.

You're welcome, I'm glad it worked for ya. Just remember to roll the window down/up to keep it from sticking again.
