! I have borla stinger with jba long tube headers with stock cats and have no drone . I had some drone with the stock manifolds.

Looking for a system that will be thrilling a WOT and not get on the bosses nerves during touring. will these fit the bill ? someone said Borla Touring where good for this but I have been told they have been discontinued ??

True story, for sure. I also noticed that the flanges were half the thickness of flanges on the XSpower headers. Someone emailed Jeff about the issue on my behalf and he never bothered responding to me. The best tuner in Central FL was doing the install. When I told him they were GHLs, he said, "Damn, they used to be a great company". Regardless, they sound amazing with a great decel pop and burble. Absolutely the best true muscle car tone. Mark is right, there is no drone whatsoever.

Do you have any mods to engine or current exhaust. By the sounds of what you are looking for these might do the trick. No drone on touring and no problem hearing the stereo. WOT is wild as I am non catted and 3" to the back, they will def hear you coming!!

Chiming on on the topic of interest, I had Borla Stingers and while I do believe they sound great, the drone drove me bonkers. I have had Corsa Pace Car exhaust for the last 6 years and love it.

Very good thread and appreciate some of the real world experiences. I've only heard the GLH's on a neighbor's C5 while parked and it sounded great. Sounded nice at idle and racy when he revved it. But he also said they were loud all the time, unlike his new C6 with the valves that can be tame when the wife is along yet he can open them up for similar sound (he bought the override kit for it).
It's all a compromise and thus far I had been considering just getting a nice used C5 Z06 system I can pick up for $225. But not sure I'll be happy with that. And just yesterday a friend said he heard a C5 with a Flowmaster system and it was sweetest he'd heard yet.
Anyone with experiences on Flowmaster vs. GLH vs. Corsa?

I had the B&B Bullets on my car. It was one of my first mods. At first they were nice and loud, but they resonated a bit. Not too bad after I put in a sound partition. Then I added Long Tube headers and they were quite load. My wife stopped driving in the car with me. Then I added heads/cam and they were ridiculous with resonance. They were crazy loud too. I put on the GHL Bullets and have never been happier. No resonance I can detect, quiet cruising, and loud as heck when you get on it !
Just my experience. Everyone hears things differently. Sound is a very subjective topic around here.

I absolutely love the tips on the ghl, probably the best looking out there imo... I have corsa xtremes on my z with 4" tips and they don't look near as good as the ghl's... I wish there was some way to fit those tips on my corsas then I would be set
