Thanks guys. Gonna put them on tomorrow. Of course had to get new slotted/drilled rotors, brake pads and SS brake lines.
I remember when I first bought my girl, forum members were saying once you start modding, it never stops. Why did they have to be right?!?!

So finally was able to get the brakes done. Here are a few pictures.

You should be able to tell the difference with the SS brake lines. The squishy feeling should go away.

Those do look GREAT! In the process of dismanteling everything and doing a much needed detail job of my wheel wells Ran into a small bump when I found that my right rear axle half shaft has leaked some grease sometime recently so one mod leads to another.
It might be a week or two before Im done but I'll be sure to post some pics

Shop can't get me in until July 16 for tranny swap. Talk about a bummer, and having withdrawal symptons....depressing..
By the time I'm back on the road, it'll be close to 3 months down time...

I would also paint the brackets the same color!
But what's up with those guys that paint their rotor hats caliper color, instead of BLACK???
The focal point is the caliper, you don't want to see the hats.

I'm considering going for this. I have a 50th Anniversary and I'm inclined to get the calipers in the same color as the car. My questions is what to do with the brackets.
What do you guys think would look better, brackets the same color as the calipers, or say flat black to keep them from stealing the thunder from the painted calipers?
What I'm afraid is that brackets with the same color could detract from the overall look. Any opinions?
