Replacing door lock actuator
My 2001 Pewter convertible only had 1 problem when I bought it and I knew about it: the passenger door lock does not automatically operate. Since the fuses are all OK and the window operates fine I am assuming it is the lock actuator.

Question 1 do you think that is what's wrong?
Question 2 is this very hard to replace? I found this link to how to get the door panel off:

Once the panel off it should be easy to replace.... does anyone know if it is?

I had the same problem and eveyone said it was not the actuator. I bought an actuator off ebay for 15.00 to try it out. It worked and is still on the car. Its not hard to replace once the door panel is off. Two screws a couple of plugs and some rods. You can buy just the electonic part from dorman.
