Default Going rate for 99 FRC?

Whats the going rate for a good condition Z51 FRC. 91K Miles, Z06 seats, Borla Stinger catback, and Donaldson Black wing intake. Interior is in great shape. Complete sound system, 12" woofer, Components, 4ch, Mono for the sub. Kind of testing waters, as I would like to get into a C5Z here soon.

I was feeling 16k give or take? Whats your opinion?

A few quick pics.

16k might be about right for Cali. It's a starting point anyway; check your local Autotrader and see what it says.

Btw....I grew up in Vacaville....small world.

Well, for what it's worth I nicked up my '99 FRC for just over $12k 2 years ago. Granted, it was pretty much stock only had SLP loudmouth axle backs and a set of Z06 reproduction wheels on it with 95,000 miles. It wasn't perfect, had been in one accident (rear end) and I'm in PA. So, for Cali, as suggested, I would check on autotrader to see if you can find any out that way. You could also check kelly blue book and see if that's any help. Good luck.

Yeah I've lived here for about 10 years. I would love to move out to Texas. I hate Cali. Too expensive, and too strict.

But yeah I have looked around a few different places. Seems they go anywhere from 16-17 with my mileage and condition. Anything less that 15 they have 120K+.

No you wouldn't.

The humidity is a killer here and it's all so......flat. No mountain roads to drive on, no twisting turns, or beautiful summer days; just lots of straight roads, tornados, hurricanes, and 100% humidity. I can't wait for my youngest to turn 18 and head off to college so I can move to AZ with the rest of my friends and family. They all left TX in 2004 and left me behind.

I've got to ask though, how do you get away with having tinted windows in Cali?

Idk why I have such a fascination with Texas, everyone I talk to tells me im crazy for wanting to move there. Guess I just listen to to much country music, makes me think its a nice place lol.

And I don't get tint tickets because when I see them I ..

Jk, I have had plenty of tint tickets. I usually roll with the windows down, unless my wifes in the car complaining. But mostly its my girlfriend in the passager seat, she dont mind.

Reading halfway through your post I was thinking about $15K for that kind of mileage. Completing the read and judging by the pics, it looks really well taken care of. If this is the case, $16K does seem very reasonable.

Believe me, I feel your pain when you state that everything is expensive here. Prices are high, including the median prices for used Corvettes. Obviously, if you truly like the car, make a lower offer and work from there.

Ed,
The only way to deal with tinted windows here is to pay the piper.

I have tinted windows on all my vehicles and on the average I get cited for it about every two years. I'm in the glass business and fortunately trade a lot of work with my tinter. But here you still have slight fees for fix-it tickets. About $25 bucks. It's just a hassle to have it removed, inspected, and re-installed. But I like it too much, for several reasons, to be without.

That's not a bad fine all things considered. I still remember when tint became illegal there; all because of some psycho in LA and paranoid ChiP'ers.

Car looks good and a great color. I would say if the car checks out, $16K would be OK as a top offer.

I gave 15500 for mine about 16 months ago with 67K, MGW shifter, new quad power axle back. But I've been seeing a rise in asking prices for them lately. 16K with those miles is probably about right. Actually it seems prices are a little higher in Mo for vettes. I got lucky with mine, timing and the PO really needed to unload it.
