How much for a front bumper?
I got a crack in mine twice (god damn armadillo!) and I think I need to just get a new bumper now...
that being said, I think I would like to start wit a fresh bumper.
how much do they cost? OEM vs non OEM?

for just the front bumper cover it's somewhere around $350-400 + shipping costs for OEM unpainted. I believe I got my OEM replacement for around 380+shipping 2 years ago from a non forum vendor source.....although GM parts house is a great vendor to deal with!
You might get lucky and find one already painted in your color at corvette recycling. I can't put links, but just search online and you'll find it. But they usually run out of high demand body panels like bumpers and mirrors

Maybe try a wanted in the classifieds here. Also check Craigs. Most of the ones I saw on ebay were damaged takeoffs someone pulled from the junkpile at a bodyshop.
I'm not aware of a stock aftermarket replacement. So it's new GM or used. But good used ones come up for sale as people put custom stuff on or part cars out. Around $200 seems the going rate for a good used one.

I smacked a dillo up here in Cocoa Beach on US1 last year. There is no worse smell than armadillo meat all over your headers. Took me a while to clean it all off. Plus they supposedly carry leprosy so that's a plus.
