Default Corbeau A4's

well i have been on the fence about getting a new set of Corbeau A4 seats, so i was at this little Corvette get together and I saw a Vette with some Corbeau seats, i was like wow that's what they look like in person. Well needless to to say i wanted to sit in them to see how they felt for myself, but i could not find the owner. so i waited and waited and waited around still no owner. At that point i gave up on sitting in the supposedly great Corbeau A4 seats, as i never found the owner of the car, i was packing up and getting ready to leave and this guy walks up to the car and opens the door.... i was like yes, now i just have to ask him if i can sit inside his car and try out his seats, so I asked and he said sure go ahead. I get in the car on the drivers side and right away I was poked in my side by the seat, so I wiggled into position because of the tight fit....and my first response was "OH HELL NO!!! nice seats but i can't do it"
so to make a long story short unless you are skinny about a 30-32 in the waist I don't think you will be very comfy for long periods of time with these seats.

I am in no way knocking these seats...they do hold you in place very well, and they do look very nice...just not for me, and i really did want a set of them TOO.... please do not let my opinion sway you one way or the other, just try them before you buy them! (JMO)

At least you were able to test fit them to you before you went out and spent the money on a set.

At my current 32", they're perfect.

When I installed them, I was 36". A tad snug, but still SO much better than stock.

If you're wider than 36", I don't think they would be very comfortable.

Corbeau has two type of A4 seats. A4 wide and normal A4 I believe. I have a pair of A4 wide and I must say these hold me good in the seats and are comfortable.

Are you sure you have a wide set? I installed regular width and they barely fit.

couple thoughts. first off i'm not a corbeau hater. i own a pair of cr1's myself. that said i really don't think i would buy one of their seats again and here's why

1. lumbar support is sub-par
2. materials and finish are....meh
3. price

for what these cost you're not that far away from a recaro speed

i'm not sure if anyone has measured them out but this is a LOT more seat for your money

I heard that the A4 wide will not fit. I know my regular A4's are a TIGHT fit in the car !

36" waist here.... 210 lbs. My regular A4's fit like a glove ! No way I'm ever going back to junk stock GM seats. Seats in C5's and C6's are a major complaint from every pro driver that tests them. I sure know why now and agree with them.
