Default splash guards`

Tried searching the threads but nothing. Besides the one common painted guards, Altec, I believe, is there any others that are nice for C-5's? Mine hang too low and scrape or break but I like the ones on the c-6's. Please show your splash guards, thanks

I can take a pic later tonight if I have time...using modified c6z guards, and they look great.

They are nice. BUT, really, 300 bucks for plastic mud guards or $738 for the carbon fiber set is a little high for splash guards. Is it just me?

Why two different guards? Do they need to be modified and can they be painted? Thanks

OEM C6Z Splash guards. You will need to trim them to fit.

Default Splash guards ?

Not too sure what you mean about expensive splash guards, or Corvette anything for that matter. Couple months back I bought a full set of Apsis splash guards for my 2003. Painted them and mounted, I like them. And that's the most important thing isn't it ?

Yes, I personally didn't like the large Z06 guards on the front, but the stock C6 rears are the perfect size for the fronts.

I went with a set from RPI Designs - cost was $40 and no drilling required. May not be as fancy as the others shown, but they work and I didn't spend a fortune on them.

I'm not seeing them on the front, right? I'm wondering if they fit on the front with the sideskirt ground effects. Did you have to alter them to fit? By the way , you're car looks AWESOME!

Fronts have about 3 1/4" clearance, rears over 6". They may be too low for some - I've never had them scrape on my car. Just showing an alternative that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

For the price if they hang too low trim them. I think that's what I'm going to try.

Intentionally did not install on front due to ground fx... Did not have to trim too much out back... fits like a glove! Thank you for the kind words...
