Fender stripes
I want to get some red fender stripes for my AW C5. I would like to have them painted and clear coated, but I'm cheap.
Has anyone gotten some vinyl stripes that are very good that we're not professionally painted?
Reply with pics, I've never seen any up close on a C5.

Here Mine I've taken mine off since but was doing other stuff to car also bills vette very nice also black plastic dip

When I had my '00, I had a local shop cut me some vinyl stripes using commercial grade vinyl. Stripes were on the car for well over 4 years and never had a problem with them. Cost, including install, was $20.
Many of the major vendors have them (Ecklers, Mid-America) and another good source is VetteStripes.com if you want to go with pre-made stripes.

I live in NWOK, but I work for SandRidge Energy, so I go to the city fairly often.
What shop did you have them done at? There is a small printing shop where I live, but if it's not cookie cutter design, they won't even try to make it.

I did mine on both sides with Red Plasti-Dip...
