OP if your on a slight budget like myself. I go with some mothers clay followed by some mothers cleaner wax. And if if looking to really get it lookin good it top it off with Meguires Tech yellow wax. After every car wash, while the car is wet i use Eagle One Wax-as-u-dry.
Right now I am using Turtle Wax ICE - does not leave a white residue on the car. I've also used Adam's Polishes products.
I use Ice on my cars that I'm not fussy about and it does a great job. I'm just not convinced it's going to give me the same shine/depth I get from Zaino. In fact, I have to go wipe off some Z5 right now!!!
Jack, I realize I've never really looked at your car. Fantastic! The interior is drop dead, and it came from the factory like that??
Zymol is pretty effortless to use in my opinion... Goes on easy, and comes off just the same. The only thing is that it does create a lot of "dust" upon removal.
Its supposedly very different from other waxes on the market. I don't think it shines as well as some other waxes, but it seems to really protect the paint.
I mostly got it because I only drive my vette every few weeks, and the idea of just hosing off the car to get all the dust off and go drive it around town looking spotless was very appealing to me.
No expert op here but I have been using Turtle Wax Ice seems to work well. Also after driving at night bugs seemed to clean off very easy. Happy with it so far. Car looks good with the ice on it too. No white dust is nice.
Id like to try the zaino stuff but after reading about how much effort goes into using it I just cannot justify spending that much time on a 12 year old car worth less than my wifes Honda. Id rather have 75% of the shine and more driving time.
