car wax

whats up everyone,

can anybody tell me the best car wax to use on my C5.

You're going to get a lot of answers, and some might be troll-like because this topic is so often discussed.

However, I use the Zaino system. I know there are other things out there that lots of people like, I would love to see a 'side by side' test, perhaps done by a bunch of Corvette owners.

Zaino here too. I like the " glass" like finish but I do wonder if a good quality carnauba wax gives more depth at the expense of longevity of finish.

I use Prima Amigo then Prima Epic on top of it. Nice warm look to it. Premium product also.

I had the Prima suggested to me by Autogeek awhile back. How are you liking it so far?

I've been using using Klasse AIO & SG, and prepping by claying or using a separate cleaner wax between applications. Nice mirror like finish on a black car.

All of the various waxes/sealants/glazes pretty much just fall off the car when you get it up to speed though

I clay bar, use Meguires #7 Show Glaze followed by #26 Tech Wax. But there's an excellent Car Care Forum you can check out.

If you want the best use pinnacle products..I pay about $100 for a tub of their souveran carnuba wax but I love it! I use pinnacle everything.

Adams americana and blackfire.literally makes it look like glass.then u got pinnacle and zymol and swissvax.literally u r going to get so many answers you r going to get lost in this thread.the only way is to buy some and try them.

When my car was black my favorite was zymol glasur, now that it's balloon white pearl I like using auto finesse tough coat.

But to be honest, Corvettes have such great paint jobs to begin with that any well cared for vette should shine up great with just about any good product.
