C6/C6 z06 shifter

C6/C6 z06 shifter
Does the C6 or c6 z06 complete shifter (shifter, boot, and ****)??? If not a direct fit can this be mOdded to fit. I had a c6 before my c5z06 and loved the shifter. Any feedback on this and the best route to go in regards to this. Thanks!

Shift rod, shifter "box", by themselves or together can fit in the C5Z. The boot can too, but may need a tad bit of adjusting, nothing major like a full overhaul. As for the ****, well if you get a C6Z assembly of course it's gonna fit. If you keep the C5Z assembly you can find vendors who've modified the C6 **** to fit a C5.

The throw is not really any shorter, but the shifter is angled back and shorter than the stock, therefore much more comfortable shifting. I got the red stiched items from a vendor who no longer is on the forum or in business. There's no longer any difference between the C6 shifter & the C6Z06 shifter. One & the same.
