Ok, I have been doing some research about upgrading the radio in my recently acquired C5 and ran across something that is called an ISIMPLE that interfaces with your IPHONE. It has some mixed reviews and was wondering if anyone here has it currently installed or knows of someone that does.

I installed last year and it works great. I can still use my CD player and radio and iPhone or iPod. Had it done by audio store, they had to remove part of dash to install.

I really want one in my C5 but need to know how difficult it is to reach the back of the stock radio. I hope OP does not have a issue with posting his thread. If so I apologize.

Its pretty simple. Remove the center console first, then the radio bezel. After that just unscrew the headunit!

yea it's easy to get at.

Open center console, remove (2) bolts, pop off the traction control panel, unscrew 2 bolts there. slide armrest portion back a bit and console is easy to remove. There will be (1) screw in ash try area, and (1) near ignition. Unbolt the radio and pull out, easy access.

I actually had to loosen the climate control head unit and drop it to get at the radio to pull it out. Other than that, all of the above.

Just did it last week. Piece of cake. Works like a charm. No battery drain issues. Love it!

I had one in my car. Had it installed by Best Buy. Worked great. Bought a Kenwood from DD. Now it sits in a box.
