My recently purchased 2001 vert has Goodyear Eagle F1 GS runflats. The fronts are getting close to needing replacement but the rears are about 45% tread.
I had experience with Hankook V12's on my formerly owned Honda S2000 and really want to go non runflat.
I have decided to get the tires from discounttiredirect.com but am not sure how to deal with the rear tires. Do any of the installers buy used tires? My rear tires have to be worth at least $100 apiece. Has anyone here ever tried to sell used tires on Ebay? What does it cost to ship them?

Reason: clarification
Try craigslist to sell the tires. Free and will save you shipping. I think it's 20-25 bux to ship tires, but it's been a long time since I had to do so. I am a big fan of the Hankook Ventus 12's. Have them on my C5 and the Bimmer

Good idea. Lots of them on Ebay, and if you specify local pickup only then shipping is moot. Of course you do pay for the ad, unless they are having one of their 'free specials'.

Have the Hankooks on one set of wheels for my C5 and just ordered another set of them for my spare set of wheels. Very good tires at a very good price. And Discount Tire Direct is great to deal with - have bought two sets of tires from them.
