Is anything ever easy?
I told you that my 03AE Auto would not shift. I had it towed to the shop. The console was removed at which time it appears that a clip is broken. To get the clip you have to order the whole cable. Then there was a upgrade in 03 and it is unknown if I need a different bracket because they don't know if I have the upgrade. Then... if they have to replace the wole cablwe they may have to drop the exhaust to get to the brackets that hold the cable along the frame. Whay can't anything ever be easy? Oh well, the price you pay to own a Vette!

Sometimes they do get you coming and going. Hope you can get this repaired without having to spend a fortune.

I'm fortunate enough to be able do most of any repairs myself. So when a project comes up that I just can't handle, it's not so bad bringing it to a shop. The info and help on this forum is nothing short of amazing!

Call me cheap but if its just a clip that's broken I would think of a way to rig it to work. It can't be all that hard
