Default What did you do to your C5 Today?

I haven't seen one of these yet here on CF, so I figured I would post one up and hope to see some cool builds and mods.

Post pictures and what you're doing. Should be fun!

I'm currently waiting for my DEPO lights to come back from paint..

I took the cover off. Drove to the bank and back home. Put the cover back on.

Now next week is a different story. Next week I install my new CAI and chrome airbridge, install new poly bushings in my sway bars, flush the brake fluid out of the system, replace the broken door panel clips, flush the clutch fluid a couple times, install the dual pod pillar with guages, install the radio/HVAC bezel, install the flush mount tail light kit, do the anti-venom mod, put on the GS stripes, install an LMC5 column lock bypass, and lubricate all of the weatherstripping.

I took a week off to give myself time for all of this. It's going to be a busy week.

I was just going to pay the dealer on the bezel, but doesn't look too hard. I think I'll do it myself also. As for today put new Lloyd's mats in, I know major stuff. My Jeep was getting all my attention for a while there, I contributed to that what did you do to your TJ today thread too.

I took mine out for a short ride with the targa top off this AM...what a NICE day in the PNW, finally. I just put my new repro rims and new Hankooks on the coupe this week too! Loving the new grip and quieter ride, plus chromier rims than my old stock thin spokes.

Sorry bout the big wheel clearances, as I was just done changing out the tire/rim sets and the body had not even settled down from a drive yet!

Picked mine up after signing all the paperwork and the check. Drove a 6 speed for the first time in 6 years. Cleaned off the tire dressing the "detail specialist" applied at the shop in preparation for my arrival. Now I need to figure how the little things that make this car special. Yes, I'll post some pics when the temp drops and the sun starts to set. I do have a couple questions, so I'll do that in another post.

Got in the car drove to work doing 32 in a 30 and got pulled over by the city cop. He told me to the people around the block called in, to the station that a red vette was speeding like crazy ever morining about 7:30. Told me to slow it down and that I was the reason he was out here for the last 3 days. I ask him if 32 was speeding and if that was all he had to do is that on me that everone had a job to do. Robert

Last night I polished my CCW's.

Got some 3M automotive sandpaper in grit 600, 1000, 1500, 2000, and 3000.
Wet sanded off various small scratches from over the years.
Adams metal polish after sanding, and they are mirror shine again !
Try that with a clear coated or painted wheel....

I had a flat tire last weekend, and got that patched. I used some Aluminum tape to cover the new ugly wheel weights. It looks better than without...

Do you know what all had to be changed for the brake conversion? I have been interested in upgrading as well.
