Doing some research here... My experience has tested that driving around 78 to 87 mph with the roof off, windows down, and hatch fully secured (no vent clips installed), I get the effect of light items swirling around and/or flying out of the car.
What has been your experience? What's your average speed at which anything not bolted down starts taking flight?
I have had things fly around at a lesser speed then that. Usually paper items. If yo plan to drive at 55mph or higher in that condition, you really need to make sure everything is stored.
The worst is when you open the center console... Any loose papers in there, gas receipts or what have you will be gone! And yeah about 50 mph they start swirling in the back. The cargo net really helps and the trunk cover! What I find makes it a little better is when you are travelling at the right speed that you can tilt the visors up that deflect most of the wind out of the cabin and you dont get the drone. But too fast and they just flip back down. I wish there was some sort of a splitter to help with the issue. or a way to get the visors to stay up at high speeds.

Just makes sense to secure the items before taking a drive if you have the targa top off.

Do NOT open up the center console at speed if you have any important papers or receipts in there! Don't ask me how I know how! Just last week, I actually had a cd folder in my rear hatch area, in front of the targa top and behind the seats, and the wind caught the plastic flap just right and one of my cd's blew out and into my lap!
