Alignment cost?

Just curious, I just paid over $200 for an alignment at a Firestone shop? Seems high to me, what do you guys pay.

What the ****? I paid $120 for the lifetime alignment at firestone. They don't even do a very good job.

Lots of local places do it for $60-80. It's an easy car to align.

Talk about a Corvette tax, dang, $200 bucks

! $85. at my local Chevy dealer where the techie does Corvettes on a regular basis, I've got a Coupe, lowered, bigger tires, he asked me, you want a Z06 alignment?

wow that is high. I got mine done here in the Dallas area at a Firestone for $159.00 for the life of my car. That is a 4-wheel alignment and the tech allows me to give him custom specs if I choose to.

having one done while the car is at the shop for H/C swap. invoice shows 65 for 4 wheels.

$60 at the Goodyear Tire dealership. They have the best rep in town, and all the high dollar exotics and Vettes go there.

But I do remember about 10 years ago they used to charge more, but competition has driven the prices down.

I had my 02Z custom aligned ( using PFADT street specs) at my Chevy dealer for $80.

$80-$100 is a good range.

And where would someone find the Z06 alignment specs if someone wanted to go to a shop and provide the information to them for use on my Vette?
