Default New c5 owner :)

I currently just purchased my 1st corvette . A 99' with 28,000miles.. My parents said it is my birthday gift for them letting me buy it. Just ordered WCC lowering bolts front and rear.
Its tuned with LG Headers, z06 titanium exhaust, cold intake and 160 term.

Cool - welcome to the forum and DON'T do anything without asking the forum first. No kidding - in the 4 years I've been here I've seen more new Vette owners do some real bonehead stuff to there car because they didn't ask for info from the Corvette Forum.

Everything that can be done, repaired, modified, etc has already been done. This forum is better than any manual ever written on a car. Use the Search function, it is your friend!!

In the C5 tech section there is the C5 Godfather - Bill Curlee. If he posts it it is gospel - read through the "Stickys" they are a welth of knowledge. Others like EvilTwin, Vetteman Jack, Toque, and a handful of others also know everything about this car.

FYI - Ricer mods are frowned upon.

Enjoy the car!!

Congrats on getting your C5- sounds like a really nice, low mileage car. Hope you get lots of driving enjoyment from it.

Welcome to the forum and what a great find with such low miles. I just picked up an 02 yellow C5 that had 45K and I though that was low! Good for you!
