Sweetness!! Looks like you have the two-tone interior like my Pewter coupe. Makes it real classy inside IMO. I was looking for red when I started my search but Pewter won me over real quick. Especially after owning my "cop magnet" bright red Chev Pickup (totalled...gone). Now I have a pewter GMC, same year as the 'Vette and no tickets.

Cool - welcome to the forum and DON'T do anything without asking the forum first. No kidding - in the 4 years I've been here I've seen more new Vette owners do some real bonehead stuff to there car because they didn't ask for info from the Corvette Forum.
Everything that can be done, repaired, modified, etc has already been done. This forum is better than any manual ever written on a car. Use the Search function, it is your friend!!
In the C5 tech section there is the C5 Godfather - Bill Curlee. If he posts it it is gospel - read through the "Stickys" they are a welth of knowledge. Others like EvilTwin, Vetteman Jack, Toque, and a handful of others also know everything about this car.

Thats odd because i'm in Pa. and have a red Silverado and the insurance company never asks what color my vehicles are.

I picked up my first 02 Z06 when I was 20, now at 21 I'm on my 2nd 02 Z procharged LOVE this car....
You should check Geico for rates I only pay $75 a month for full coverage with $500 deductibles but I have a squeaky clean record.
