Default Protecting your seats

Has anyone taken pictures on how to reinforce your seats so they don't break down as fast. My seats are in good condition and I want to keep them that way.

Thanks.

Here is a response..lol. Preventive maintenace not practical on these seats. IMHO replacement foam and seat skins are so reasonably priced that trying to extend the life of stock seats is redundant. I just replaced foam, leather skins and installed seat heaters all for under $800- and extended the life for another 9 years. Just enjoy and don't sweat the small stuff. (Now if you have a vert..the roof would be a concern!) Greetings, Rob

Default Seat melt down ?

Corvette Central sells a kit. It is enough to do both seats, it's just some foam and Jute and canvas and they direct you to file down of the sharp edges and to protect the bottom seat foam from the springs. I bought the kit and Countcorvette.com do the install work. I'd say it gives the seats a good ten more years of use. The kit is cheap. Great low cost Mod !
