Default x pipe no lth worth it?

For cost savings would it be worth the cost to go with a new xpipe but leavethe stock manifolds? Anyone done this on a stock car? What were the gains?

None are really worth it unless you do the whole thing

LTs, High Flow cats, x-pipe, great free flowing mufflers, AND CAI plus a great dyno tune.

if you can not do it all at once, what until you can.

X-pipe did nothing to improve power on my Z06. It did what I expected, removed the exhaust jingle and smoothed the exhaust note.

Cai will be done and a tune as well. Keeping my stock ti eitherway, I have always been told it flows very well. At some point if not now the intake will be pored or swapped over to a fast 92. I was giving thought to the "abs of steel" plate which means I have to drop the stock h pipe.

If you have the exhaust off anyway, it would be a good time to add a X, but X-pipes added to an otherwise stock system are not bolt on. There's cutting and welding to retain the stock cats. Most LT systems can be bought complete, ready to bolt on to your stock catback. You decide to use, or not use, HF cats that can be bought as part of the exhaust system.

You can run the stock TI exhaust up to 500hp/flywheel without problems. I went head/cam/intake/tb/headers/tune and kept stock TI. It sounds very nice.
