Off the wall question....
I'd read somewhere (can't remember where, but something I just read reminded me of it) that C5 standard and sport seats use the same frame, they just have different foam and covers. Is this true or no? I'm thinking the guy was nuts, but I do realize that GM and other auto makers reuse many of their parts for different applications.

Yes, I do believe that is true. And of course there is the power controls with the sports seats too, but the frame is the same.
