Got round to installing Compliance Parts CAGS defeat. Worked as described - no CAGS and no light!
My only screw up was dropping a nut for the fuse box shroud under the battery tray...doh...
A quick trip to autozone for a magnetic snake solved that one.
It feels good to have done something in addition to polishing and driving it- even if it was pretty easy.
Mine is gone. But I still have the light. I like it lighting up cause I still shift from 1st to 4th anyway though. Saves ALOT of gas and lets me lazy shift.

I think it does. When i row through first through fourth I always wanna hear my exhaust so I wind up leaving it in each gear longer for more RPM. I think shifting to fourth from first saves gas, wear on the gears, and the clutch.

Sometimes I just need to hear the rumble when the RPM's build up.
Spent a little time today to put in the CAGS-SKIP from Compliance Parts. Went in easy and works like a charm. Didn't bother killing the light, it doesn't bother me.
Also spent a little more time and put in their LMC5 to get rid of the column lock. My lock was working perfectly fine, but did this for some PM. That went in easy and works perfectly too.
The instructions in the packages are so detailed that anyone can do the work. Very well put together. The hardest part was fighting with the little body clips on the car.
