Default Sagging side air dam ?

Has anyone tried these side air dam supports from a bunch of vendors? My side portions of the air dam sag at the corners, these are made of plastic, I doubt they hold up a sagging side air dam ? What do you think ?

I put a set of these on at the same time I put on a brand new set of side air dams on. They use the factory hardware and appear to keep everything pretty solid. Haven't had any issues to speak of. Not an expensive little piece of insurance either if I remember correctly.

I have them. They really work! Great extra support.

I tried some metal ones on an earlier 03 I had and really couldn't tell much difference. I guess it depends on how much it's sagging.

I've had them for years. They do a decent job and are not expensive either.

I put a set of them on mine earlier this year. Very easy install and they do work as advertised - brought my side air dams back flush with the fascia.

So now the question is...where exactly did you get them?

I drilled and added a few pop rivets to mine in strategic places. They're invisible, cost cents, and no more sagging. It looks much better this way.

I also use these, but I added some small (3/4" od) fender washers on the screws for added support. Before using these the end pieces would tear away at the screw holes. Now they last about two years (I scrape going in and out of our driveway).

I got mine from Mid America. However, I've seen other vendors offer them as well.

Default Side air dam supports ?

OK, Well we've got 6 votes yes, they worked, 2 votes doubting their effect (I included myself). 2 votes saying they didn't work, 1 vote from the shade tree fix and 2 votes asking where to get them. I am holding a set I bought years ago and these are weaker than some of my cats toys.

My air dams sag right at the corners, and I'm not drilling a 1/8 hole in the bumper to put a screw into shore it up, so (By the way, putting a screw into the bumper seems like the most logical fix, but I can't do that) I was wondering how these little plastic thing will work on five year old air dams ? Crazy, how the tiniest problems can bug you !

An inexpensive add-on that is much better than factory, but not perfect. I have had them for 4 years and would buy again.

In the time it took to type these two paragraphs, you could install both supports and see for yourself.

Yes sir, you are quite correct. I'm looking for my 1/4 set of sockets as we speak.

I was skeptical at first however I have been happy with them.

The corners will still scrape, however the support arms will help prevent the corners from pulling away from the fascia as the OEM screws fit through the hard plastic support brace vs. the soft flexible spoiler.
