Driver seat motor

I have a 98. My driver side seat will move forward and back and will move up but it will not lower. Any ideas or suggestion?

I have a used seat adjuster if you need parts..

And it just hit me that you may just have a switch problem...

Wouldn't surprise me if the nylon ends on the adjusters are broke

I had the same problem. Can you hear the motor going when the switch is depressed? If not then your problem is the switch. Take it apart & clean the contacts - worked for me!

My thoughts exactly. The switches often fail.
