What is a 50th Anniversay license bezel ? and the tail lights are that same as a 2002 or a 2004 Corvette. What kind of special parts are you looking for ?

Look around in the Mid America or Ecklers catalogs.

There are not that many 50th Anniversary specific mods available. You may need to customize some mods outside of logos.

I'm sorry, There is one item that is great as a 50th. Anniversary Mod. Mid-America sell the 50th. Anniversary exhaust plate, Part number for either is #612-556 & 606-372 I think you'll like them. To be honest, I have never found any real exterior kind mod that was worth the cash, effort and over-all trouble, but in side I've done the console pad done in an embodied '50th.' on it and it's done in a nice shale color. And a few other things.Chevrolet has a . . . Kind of retarded way of doing 'Anniversary year Corvettes' For example: the 35th Anniversary year model. It was a great year for the C4, the fuel injection was now really becoming a tried and true performance injection. The C4 itself was a solid as a bank vault. Ran great so long as you didn't want a manual transmission because all that was available was the old and . . . hated Doug Nash 4+3 mistake of a transmission if there ever was one.

But the Corvette brand mangers decided the car would be white, the interior, ... White! and then there was the Tornado wheels, once more the Corvette got white paint on them too. Matter of fact the only different color, or should I say non-color, was the convertible top was once again, a non-color in Black as were the floor carpets were also black. Now from the College days and art history, white is a none color and Black is also a none color, white having NO color in it and Black having all the colors mixed together.

Thank god that by the time the 40th. Anniversary model came around, someone in the brand managers office decided to use a "New" attempt at picking colors and out came one of the most beautiful color schemes I ever seen. Metallic red, or more detailed, it had a once in a lifetime burned into most of our minds, a crisp Red/Burgundy. Simply beautiful. Ten more years go by and the 50th Anniversary model with great fanfare, all beautiful women and a great unveiling, and we have the 50th model in Anniversary red. NOT a BAD COLOR. It is different from the 40th Anniversary model, but not by much.

I realize I'm boring all of you who ventured to read my stupid little post, But of all the colors available, they either pick a non-color or the go with Red, White, or Silver as in the 1978 Anniversary model. Chip Foose comes up with better colors while he's drinking his morning coffee. I mean what is it with General Motors? and now we get the 60th. Anniversary model and what color is it . . .

Wow, a lot of creativity there, . . . Just my opinion.

Default 50th Anniversary red ?

I should mention that almost 50% of Corvettes are painted "Torch Red", I have no idea why, but if you go over the production numbers and colors in the corvette black book, you'll see that for most years, Torch Red is the customers main choice. Not ever year, but enough that torch red is the single most requested color.

That was my original point on the logos. Most mods I've seen specific to the 50th anniversary have to do with the 50th anniversary logo, i.e. exhaust plate, center arm console cover, leather seats with the 50th logo, trunk liners, etc. What I haven't seen are too many other, color specific mods, like wheels, interior trim, etc. Vette Essentials has some really nice Anniversary Red color combos on their site.

I think it would have been cool if GM would have limited the anniversary models (every 10 years) to white exterior/red interior similar to the first 1953 Corvette and only offered that combination during anniversary years. You could still have white exterior or red interiors, just not together. (Unless you're SFC Rick).

As a guy who always liked the 35th Anniversary Edition ...white on white with white wheels and a white steering wheel to boot...However I was finally able to pick one up about 2 years ago... I'm happy with the car

I do have to say the $5000.00 extra spent by the original owner for the Z01 option was a "little too much" to pay for 2 or 3 special emblems and the white wheels.. !!! and I know I have to start looking for a new (repro I assume) steering wheel as mine is "flaking" ..

None of the Anniversary Corvettes were all that "special" in my opinion I just happen to like the "look" of the 35th
