Default Is Your DAILY DRIVER Modded?

You drive it to work and home every day. On the weekend, if you need to run an errand, you have to take your 'Vette (or spouse's car) because you have no other choice.

It's your Daily Driver. How have you modified your Daily Driver?

(ps: if it's NOT your Daily Driver, we probably already know how it is modded, so PLEASE ... well, you know the rest.)

Exactly! That's why I asked, How have you modified your DD? Mine? Blackwing intake and Corsa exhaust. Not much, but it's a start.

I daily drive my truck now, but I did daily drive my c5 z06 with vararam, b&b prt, lowered on stock bolts, with 5% tinted windows ( which is way too dark for a DD)

I used to daily drive my various trans am, one of which was procharged, lowered 1.5" eibachs, Koni adjustable shocks, 1LE sway bars, had bigger brakes, full exhaust. It wasn't nearly as quiet or comfortable as other daily drivers but it was fun. It did get annoying on long trips with the noise and how rough it rode.

When I bought my '99 C5, it was used as my DD for about a year. And yes, it was modded but only appearance wise - did not do any performance mods due to the warranty on the car.

I have a 99 Civic EX. The suspension is mildly modded - it has a Civic SI rear sway bar, Blox LCAs and Tokico HPs. Still is a pig compared to the Corvette.

Mines a daily and the only thing done is the exhaust.
I love the sound but the tips are so ugly.

Mine is my dd. Only time I don't take it out is if i know its going to be a really rainy day or we are going out for drinks with the expectation of taking a taxi home.

Car is mostly stock but has borla stingers, mgw shifter, k&n drop in. I have a vararam I am planning to install soon and I plan to get a tune from COW or ECS. I am also going to lower it on stock bolts with Z51 sways and most likely Z06 shocks.

When I moved back to NY last summer my Z06 was my only car and I drove it everyday during the summer. It had a cam/head setup. I still drive it a lot now, but just not as much. I'm more picky about it since I have another car.

I drive my Z06 as much as I drive my Camry. Probably 50/50. Both cars pull about the same gas mileage and the Z06 a/c works better, so...

OEM LS6 shortblock, AFR 205cc heads, Comp Cams XFI kit, ported FAST manifold, Halltech intake, 1.75" headers, Borla Stingers, RPS twin-disk clutch, slammed on aftermarket bolts, 19/20" rolling stock.

My 99 is my DD. Plan to do some mods; suspension, exhaust and CAI. Mostly cosmetic after that. According to my loving spouse this is my "10 year car" - in other words, I'm keeping this one for a while.

I have fun wherever I drive , but I do baby it for the most part. Work is about 10 miles away, and school days are about a 35 mile drive.

It will remain a DD after my h/c upgrade soon too. I have the heads and am working them over, just need to select the cam and all the miscellaneous parts.
