Been noticing for a few weeks that the OEM shocks were going. 14 years on the car has finally taken their toll. Now I'm going to get some new C6 Z06 shocks since it's too long to save up for better coil overs. I'll do less driving until next month when I will be able to buy a set.
I guess it's better to buy the fronts now (can afford) and pick up the rears next month? This way at least the front tires won't be bouncing at every little bump in the road.
Sound like a plan? Front this week, rears first of next month?

Or wait and do all next month?
I would do all four at one time. Easier to gear up and do the work that way.
If it were me I would wait and do them all at the same time. This way you can experience what a difference it made. Would be hard to tell doing the front then rear later.
Like others, recommend you do all together....when installed new, c6z fronts will make your vette look a bit higher than the rears. They did on mine. So not sure how that would look if you did just the fronts (with c5 shocks in rear& then later the rears. Overtime they will settle though. Good luck!
OEM shocks will most likely last no longer than your previous ones. If you want to really upgrade, consider Bilsteins. Their quality of manufacture is a step-up from factory shocks.
