I've owned my 99 C-5 Coupe for three years now, and while looking up something in the owners manual I noticed that the tag showing options and paint codes on the glovebox door is worn thin and illegible. Where can I get the original info, and is a new tag available anywhere?
If you go to www.compnine.com and put in your vin, you'll get a list of all the options it came with. Sometimes the color may show up different but the options will be correct.
Thanks for the help. I can live without the tag, not exactly a collector car now is it? Got the info I needed from www.compnine.com. I knew it was a Z-51, as it was almost the only legible code left, but it was interesting to see the rest of it. Compnine also has a "rarity guide" that aliows you to punch in certain codes to see how many were made. In 99, there were 161 black on black Z-51 6spd coupes with sport seats and Bose stereo. And roughly 1 that has my name on the title.

I'm one of that 161 too!! Love the Z51 suspension and 3.15 gears!!!!!
hey Dsturbd
Yours is even more rare than mine, in that I was pretty sure all M6 cars had 3:42 gears. At least mine does.
My bad!!!! You are absolutely right. I missed the MN6 part of the original post! Mine is an A4 auto. Whoops, I have already painted my face red to display my oversight!!
May the Corvette gods forgive me for my transgression, it was not done intentionally, honest!!!!

You can take your car to your local dealer, let them get the VIN from it, then have them contact the Area Regional Manager and have him or her contact the Troy print center to get the label.

Your only alternative is to attempt to get an ID printout of your vehicle at your local Chevrolet dealer's service department.
There is only one company with full authorization from GM to replicate the exact door stickers (VIN Certification Labels and Tire Pressure Labels) on your vehicle. That company is:
