OK, I finally had a chance to drive this thing and WOW! The clutch pedal is firm but not overbearing. It can be slipped easily and once engaged, you know it. I need to put some miles on it to break it in but I like it so far.

FINALLY!!!! We are very proud to announce our twin disc lineup for the GM LSx based platforms!

Our new billet aluminum twin discs are designed, tested, built, and assembled here in house to the strictist tolerances to ensure you guys are getting your monies worth. We're so confident in our new twins that we put a TWO YEAR warranty on these units, that's yet another industry first! With the ability to hold from 700hp to 1500 and beyond we're confident we've got a twin for you. Every part of the clutch is made in the United States of America, absolutely nothing on these units are brought in from overseas. We feel these are the best twin disc units on the market, bar none. Not only do these have excellent street manners they can take a severe beating as well.

At two plus years in the making we're not screwing around. These things have to be an improvement upon our already incredibly popular singles and push the envelope of the twin disc market beyond what most of you are used to. You won't find any stamped steel import pressure plates stacked on top of two discs, you're not going to find any sub par parts inside, all you're getting is American made quality that will handle the rigors of daily driving and track abuse.

Below are some key elements to our twins -
  • One piece billet aluminum covers
  • 4140 floater and pressure plates
  • Progressive rate diaphragm springs (Very important! We don't use "break over" type springs on our twins, this means you have a steady pedal pressure and ZERO high rpm shifting issues as these have been tested to 10,000 rpm)
  • Organic with marcel spring and Ceramic Matrix Frictions
  • Billet Steel flywheels with two weight options (28# for the masses and 18# for the crazy road racing/autocross guys that are looking for the lowest MOI possible)
  • Fully rebuildable (Rebuilding your clutch also resets your 2 year warranty!)
  • An actual stable feeling clutch pedal (Gone are the days of the puny clutch pedal that has no feedback and gets limp when you're using and abusing it, our diaphragms give steady pressure every time)
  • Balanced from us as an assembly
  • Tested and proven at rated hp/tq, no gimics or bs
We are currently taking orders for these clutches with expected ship times (depending on sales volume) 1-3 weeks from your time of purchase. We'll be doing all we can to get these out in a timely manner, however, please understand that a lot of folks have waited two years for us to release these, there will be a bit of a delay initially. To make up for this, we're releasing these during our sale that is taking place to help you guys get $100 off and free shipping! You must call to order these, any of our dealers or distributors can get you taken care of as well.

Below is the three flavors these come in, pricing is basic packages with the standard weight flywheels - any questions just let us know!
  • Level 1 Twin Disc (700hp/tq) - $1199 shipped!
  • Level 2 Twin Disc (1000hp/tq) - $1399 shipped!
  • Level 3 Twin Disc (1500hp/tq) - $1599 shipped!
I'd like to thank everyone that has been a supporter of Monster Clutch, and all that have patiently waited for this day to come. We sincerely believe you will NOT be disappointed. Pictures of the units will be posted as soon as the web guy and photographer are done with the photo shoots for the site. If anyone has any questions please feel free to give me a call.

Thanks! I just wanted to let you guys know that I have touched every clutch made for Corvettes and the construction/material is much superior to other twins out there (comparable price range). I'm looking forward to testing this one at the track once it's fully broken in.

On a side note, Monster's customer service is second to none. I am very proud to carry their products.
