Electrical connections problem ?

Good news is that appears to be a Delco PT795 part number (it has white wires, but you can release them and insert your own wires into the connector body if you want). GM part #12167129
Bad news is, it's a little spendy. Seems to run between $20 and $30 depending where you buy it.

Here's a pic of it from a vendor website, where they are installing their product by tapping into the pink/white wires coming out of it:

The AC Delco pic shows all five wires in it, but the unneeded connector pins can easily be released. I usually use a paper clip inserted from the front to push down the lock tab and pull the wire out the back.

A number of places carry it and prices vary.
You might get lucky and find someone willing to cut one off an interior wiring harness, but I wouldn't count on it though. That same little connector body is used for a lot of different functions on varous GM vehicles, so maybe a trip to the salvage yard.

Sometime it's those that make the difference in a quality job vs something that's just strictly functional. When it comes to anything electrical, especially things such as wiring, doing things right the first time prevents a LOT of headaches in the future and half the battle is just finding the sources for the parts you need. Glad to help.
