My wife and I just got home from a ZZ Top concert. We felt really proud to have so many people before and after the show go out of their way to tell us what a beautiful car we have. The concert was awesome by the way. If you ever get the chance to see them, go. They have been rockin' for four decades and they still do it very good!
I agree about the band...but. Last time I saw them was at The Post Gazette Pavilion. Parking lot is basically a big graveled field and people come early to tailgate. A lot of kids drinking and whooping it up. Well at my age they are kids. Anyhow, my Neon ended up with some parking lot rash by the end of the night. Sure not a place the Vette will ever see. Glad you had a good time.
Glad you enjoyed the show and that you met some people who know a great looking car when they see one! I've seen ZZ Top before and they rock!
However, I mirror the other comments in that rock concerts rank in my top places I usually will not drive the Corvette. Not so much for the fear of parking damage, but rather how they define what/where a "parking lot" is. I've paid $$$ to park in cow pastures 1/2 mile from the event. Gravel, mud, dung, etc. That's what our SUV is for.
