Make sure you get the car checked by a competent mechanic. How large was the dump truck? Was it a 1-ton or something bigger? The bigger and heavier the vehicle, the more damage they can inflict even at low speeds.

For the used parts discussion I have no problem with using used parts, but from my past experience it seems most body shops write the estimates with new parts or new aftermarket parts if new are not avail.
I'll post tomorrow and let you all know what the insurance adjustor says

Well Insurance just left.....it's going to the shop for repairs. estimate written by the adjustor was just shy of $9,000. Basically replacing the whole left side of the vehicle and both rims on that side. I'll be taking the car to the dealer for the repairs and should have it back in 3-4 weeks!

I wanted to take it somewhere that i KNOW has experience repairing Corvettes. So a GM dealer in my area has a body center with it and they seem more reputable than the other shops around here. Also, any mechanical repairs needed it will be onsite and completed by the dealer as well.

That's what i thought too....unfortunately they sited ME at fault!! The officer on the scene said because the truck hit my quarter panel it appears i was not all the way in the lane when i was hit so i was cited with "improper lane change" .....No clue what was said about it though as the truck driver only spoke spanish to the officer.
I've already requested a court date to take this further......
