How much does the bypass effect the sound? I have LT's and no cats and I'm torn between stock ti's or ti's with the bypass done. I like the sound of both, I just don't know if the bypass version will be too loud at cruising speed.
Without cats I would stick with the stock ti's if you don't want it too loud. I haven't heard a modded ti exhaust in person, but I have headers and catted x-pipe with stock ti's and the sound is awesome.

Go for it will sound good man..If you get it done like it should be done in TI pipe and with a tig welder. It,s a little more than you are thinking to get it done.. But does sound good with LT and no cats.. Robert

I wouldn't imagine it would be. The bypass mod is dependent on a lot of airflow bypassing the muffler but when you're cruising you're not pushinga anywhere near the airflow you would be at full throttle.
I've read other threads where guys said it had a little more noise but still very subtle compared to some aftermarket competitors.
I am running a bypassed stock Titanium catback, LG Pro 1.75" headers, hi-flow cats.
I would say it's got the same tone as stock under no and partial throttle, and a slightly more aggressive tone at WOT. It has the faintest hint of popping under heavy deceleration also, but it's not overwhelming. Volume increases almost linearly with RPM. It screams like a banshee at WOT. No cats will be serious.

That's what I'm wanting to hear. Thanks for the info.
