I could likely do one now in under a few hours. This forum has step by step instructions (for many things) which rival, or are far better than any service manual.
Certain things working on a car i have fun doing lol. I think the end result will be worth it. The car would be fully loaded except for ride control i believe. Even though the hud wasnt an option in 98.

Check to see if the old owner installed an LS6 intake, If not I would put that on my mod list.
Again, Welcome.

How would i be able to tell? That is something on my list of possible mods. I did read one area that people said opening up the engine, little things start to go wrong. Im no stranger to those "little things" and they can drive me nuts. I was starting to get worried that changing the intake manifold make allow those "little things" to start happening.

In all honesty, ive been searching for a list of normal bolt ons, but cant find one. Id like to find out what parts people use and what the pros and cons are for each.

Also how do you all do the tuning thing in the Vette world? In the mustang world, you buy a diablo or sct, maybe run the canned tune for a bit unil you get all your mods then have it dyno tuned.

I dont really have any goals for the car, just a little more go go. Ive never been into gears. I know they give a great butt dyno feel. Ive just never been into them.

My only ideas for now are:
Ls2 throttle body
Ls6 intake manifold

Id like to check out some other cars before i consider headers and high flow cats. I like a quiet ride. My werid slp's arent the quietest but i can deal with them. Any louder and id probably get annoyed. I did read something about z06 exhaust. Thats interesting, i need to look more into that.
