Today I drove 90 miles from the Oregon coast to Portland and I can tell you there must have been 10000,cars heading to the coast almost bumper to bumper. It was a gorgous day for a convertible. What is sick is I did not see one vette the whole trip

I always comment that I see only 3-4 Vettes a week, even on the weekend.

On average, I'll see about 10 a week, if I'm out on a saturday or sunday especially, I'll see a few more. Although, last weekend, I saw about 20-40 all on the highway heading somewhere. No idea where there though?

Come down here to Cocoa Beach. Throw a rock and see how many C4s. C5s and C6s it bounces off of before it hits the ground.

Don't know, but I can drive for days around Eureka, CA and never see one. I go up and down 101 all the time and I'm the only vette on the road. Go figure!

Yes it rains a lot in Oregon but it hasn't rained much in the last 30 to 60 days in the Portland area and much less in the central and eastern part of the state

I see them constantly although the vast majority are C6s.

Do you think it's possible that there are less Corvettes in a Northern state that has a lot of rain than a sunny Southern state? Or was your observation counter to what you've historically seen in your area?

There is quite a few down here in Ft. Lauderdale. There is a 2001 red coupe the parks next to me very often. We get a chance to do the wave alot.

I beleve there are a lot more vettes in the midwest, south, and southeast due to the much better climates.

It all depends.....

Sometimes in this area I'll see 4 or 5 in a day....usually C4,5,6 and sometimes not a one.

Weather hasn't been an issue here lately!

and.....some wave, and some are oblivious.

Odd...they must all be in the midwest these days. I can't go anywhere...ever...without seeing a C5 or C6 and the occasional C4. Corvettes are everywhere.

Most of the time I see C6s. I occasionally see a C5 or two, sometimes I might see a C4, and rarely see a C3.

I only get waves when I am in my C3 here. Usually that is by the old guy in the C6 reliving his youth that even knows what it is.
