I have a guy that wants to trade me cars.He has 1998 red,auto, convertible,45K miles,Zo6 wheels+stock wheels,Corsa exhaust.Paint is good,rear tires shot and drivers seat worn,rag top good.My question is what is car worth?Thanks

Just a guess - maybe $14-15K. You would need to figure in the cost of at least two new tires and repair of the driver's seat if that is a big concern to you. And welcome to the forum.

Saw one locally with about the same mileage--he was pretty firm at $16500, just depends on where you are located.

Take the Vette to a trusted mechanic so you can get a full perspective on the car. 98 with only 45K is great. If all in order and considering the tires and seats I would say $14k to $16k.

13,k to 15,k wouldnt want to be over the 15,k. Are trade him what ever book that he is looking at to your auto by the same book. To the same cond of both cars... Robert

Since we don't know your location, it's hard to give a good guess on the price. It could vary by a couple of thousand either way. Auto Trader is a good way to determine prices in your area.
