I have had my 2000 vette for 12 years and noticed the steering wheel was always cocked a little to the right. I finally got tired of looking at it and decided to have the alignment checked yesterday. The car is never driven hard and the roads are good in the area so I figure no problems...yea right. The alignment guy told me he worked in an asembly plant and only 1 in 500 cars are checked since the are robotically assembled. After the alignment the wheel is straight and the car tracks perfect. Unbelivable what assembly plants will do to cut cost. The car only has 21,000 miles on it.
It seems that no matter what, I end up getting an alignment about once every 18 months. I have always had a problem with tire wear on the inside of the right front tire.
