Cup holder iPhone dock?
I've just been setting my iPhone in the cup holder loose so far, but was thinking a dock would be great so that I could tap and whatnot on the phone without having to hold it. Great for maps or changing music and what not.
The only cup holder adapters I've seen for sale have a 4-6" adjustable branch that the iPhone sits on top of though. That would put it in the way of my radio. I'd rather just have a dock that sits right in the cup holder.
So, I did some searching, and found this mod a guy did to his mini cooper. It seems like it wouldn't be too hard to adjust the plans to fit in the corvette cup holder.
Anyone tried to do something like this already?

I've seen a few custom DD radio bezels with an iPod adopter built into the area where the cup holder used to be, however never one built in with the cup holder lid still in place.
