Since it opinions you are asking for, I'd prefer blue calipers. If you want them to blend, I'd use a charcoal metallic color on them. I did and I think it looks very clean and stock. Here's a picture of an 08 caliper I did with the charcoal from local auto parts store.
I am not on coilovers. I have longer bolts in the rear and all the way down on the stops up front. As for the rivets, the wheels are 2 piece wheels and those are the bolts that hold the wheel together. Now as for the calipers I really wanted to do something different. I have seen tons of blues, reds, etc. Thank you all for the comments...I will be replacing the rear wheels with 20" by 10.5 as soon as i find a pair in good shape and that don't cost $1800 Each.
Looks great. I love the lines of a slammed coupe. I'm not sure about gold calipers. Different for sure. You're the only one you need to please. Great job.
If you decide to change your calipers but want to keep your original/different appeal.. Maybe a lighter more competition gold or even polished calipers with "corvette" in blue to match the paint... Either way trust your eye for aesthetics as you seem to have a good one Also, include the bracket in your color scheme to match the caliper. Wicked hawt!
I just looked at the caliper pic again and never mind the lighter gold. That gold looks perrrfect... I am a big fan. Do you think the corvette in blue to match the paint would be TOO coordinate ish?
