I rescued a kitten out of the 4-barrel carb of an abandoned car near my apartment years ago. I heard mewing and lifted the hood and there she was - a starving, flea-bitten newborn.

My daughter adopted a kitten that was found in the engine compartment of a car at a dealership at 6 weeks old.
