you might try searching this forum (C5 general) or try over in the C5 Technical forum. I know it can be done but I think that along with the rotors you'll need the C6 caliper carriers/brackets. I also think that you'll need to be sure that they will clear the insides of your wheels as they may interfere or rub. I'm not sure if they're much of an upgrade from the ones on a C5 Z06.
i recently installed drilled rotors on my c5. i used the c5 calipers and c5 rotors on front, but for the rear i used c6 z51 rotors and c5 calipers. you will need the c6 z51 caliper bracket . i also have the thin spoke wheels but your z06 wheels will work. no real improvement in breaking but the bigger rear rotor looks much better as it fills out the wheel space. it all bolts up,hope this helps...............ps bought my rotors , all four, from brake performance.

For your rear "hybrid" setup did you use a C5 front or rear caliper? I've read that some people will use the front caliper in the rear but that they lose the use of the parking brakes. Not sure if that always happens or not.
I used c5 rear caliper. I did this because the stock rear rotors looked as if they were under sized from the factory. Now the f and r rotors are about the same diameter . I've heard of using front calipers on both axles but i'm not familiar with any details on how to go about it. My thinking is it would be expensive.

That sounds like it would be the most cost effective way to go with it. And will keep buying brake components (especially pads since that's what usually needs to be replaced most) easier. Were the rotors and caliper carriers direct bolt-ons that didn't need any modification?
Yes they will fit. I recently completed a brake swap on my 02 with C6Z51 brakes. I did use Baer Eradispeed 2 piece rotors. I do have 18x9.5 front wheels and 18x10.5 rears and had no clearance issues. Let me know if I can be of help!

Why would this cause you to lose the parking brake? I may be totally off here as I haven't yet had a reason to look carefully at my car's brakes other than checking the pad life, but I thought for sure these cars used a drum parking brake inside the disc and the calipers have no part in the parking duties.
It all bolted right up, calipers and rotors. However you will need the c6 z51 caliper bracket, it is maybe an inch longer, some of the venders here sell them. Cost is some where around $90. Dollars. On another note, if you go with drilled rotors as i did, i would suggest stock oem brake pads. Ceramic pads build up lots of heat, and yes they are dust free but i never had a problem of excessive dust with oem. Just my two cents worth. Thanks..........

There is no difference between C5 and C6 calipers. They are exactly the same, both front and rear. Use the same pads as well.
The C6 uses rotors that are 1" larger in diameter. You'll need larger wheels to clear the bigger rotors. You'll also need C6 caliper brackets that space the calipers out to fit the larger rotors.

Brakes are one thing that shouldn't be "backyard" mechanic modified.
The use of the front caliper on the rear is a bad idea without examining the entire setup. The pressures from the master cylinder may need to be tweaked, the ABS might not work as effectively, and worst, you may lock your rear wheels prematurely, causing an uncontrolled spinout.

I thought the same thing as well but some of the posts from other threads had said something about losing parking brake functionality when doing this brake modification. Figured I'd ask someone that had done it recently or was in the process of doing it.

I've installed the C6Z51 brakes on my car with 18/19 wheels, and 18" wheels are a must on the front for clearance
