I feel lost. . .

Facing this wall of opportunity to do something mechanical, I bought a K&N FIPK cold air intake for my Chevy Pickup truck. Ain't much, but it's better than just wondering what's next for the Vette.

I read a post here last night about us all being an-el old farts who exist just to fuss over our Corvette rather than taking it off-roads or some such crap. Why do people join the forum just to call us a$$'s for minor or major refinements. We're not spending their money ?
I think we all take our Corvettes out and run them like any other vehicle. Even though I only have 17K miles on the 2003, I am slowly branching out further and further each time. Despite the god awful shape of our roads. (What ever happened to that Jobs bill?)
OK, My pale rant is over, thanks for listening !

I wash it twice a week also, whether it needs it or not. There's a little track patina on the front end, but at least I drive it like it was engineered to be. Take it out of the barn and drive it sir!

EDIT: I'm 60 years old by the way!

EDIT: I'm 60 years old by the way!He took my papers and came back, He said "I wrote it up as 45 in a 40 mph zone. No points on your license, just pay the fine. And try to watch the speed-o more often ! "
I said "Thank you and I'll take your advice about watching the speed."
At least I felt better getting a speeding ticket in the Corvette.
Thanks for listening guys ! One of the nice things about this place.

Please consider taking your prized jewel out on the track with an HPDE event. With an Instructor by your side coaching you, you will feel what your Corvette can do sir... trust me. I am an Instructor with three HPDE organizers, and I guarantee you that it will be the best day that you and your 'Vette have ever had! It is a no pressure, learning experience you will never forget.
If you need advice or prodding on getting on a local track, please feel free to call or e-mail me on the contacts page of my website. I can guide you towards the HPDE events in your area. By the way... I've owned my Z06 for about two years now, and the FASTEST it has ever been on a public road is 80 mph. That same car hauled **** at Daytona at 170+ last December.
