DD bezel finally here, install progress, PICS....
Well finally pulled the trigger and went with Dennis on a DD package, (Alpha-Nav setup). Got the bezel in this afternoon. (missed FedEx yesterday). Had Dennis add a 2" gauge pod for my NOS controller switches. Very impressed with his work! Hopefully have some time next week to install.....

Thanks guys. I was hoping to install this weekend, but I have a surgical wound on the left elbow that is still healing. Had to get "cut" to drain an infection. Wound almost closed, just scared of bumping my elbow while working inside the car. Been off work since Labor Day. Soon, soon! And I will post more pics of install!

Had a little time this afternoon to tackle this project some more. There is no "sticky" that I could find on a DD install. Found many, many threads...which are great! Got that old darn HU support removed. What a PITA! Used the dremel with some "milling" type head, no good. Ended up using the sanding disks, and just sanded them down, and popped out the rivets.
Tring to get the new HU lined up properly in the new bezel opening is going kinda slow. Mount HU loosely, put bezel in place, hold HU in place with one hand, remove bezel, tighten screws, reinstall bezel, Check alignment, repeat until looks good! Got too dark out, so I stopped for the night. No pics right now. I will, I will!
I did a search over in AV section, may posts on this DD install. Did find a couple where some guys "flipped" the old/removed radio bracket upside down, and re-installed. Going to try that tomorrow. Also saw a something in a "sticky" about making brackets. I liked the brackets I saw, and will be making some tomorrow that will use the factory HU post/screw holes.
